Philip Kassel offers over twenty-five years of professional writing and production experience that encompasses almost every form of media. A graduate of the U.S.C. School of Cinema-Television, Phil has worked as a writer and director on projects ranging from theatrical features to educational films. A versatile writer, his experience extends beyond the entertainment industry to include brochures, newsletter articles, web copy, company profiles, executive biographies, college view books, press releases, public relations and ad copy. |

Phil is currently writing and directing the Biography-style business television series, SECRETS OF SUCCESS for Planet Nine Productions. He is also a producing/directing partner with Planet Nine for two feature film projects, HUNTTING PAUL'S HOFFNER and CAMP X. MGM Studios optioned Phil’s comedy-western, SMALL IN THE SADDLE, as a directing project for Academy Award winner David Ward. Two of his screenplays, BLACK SHADOW MOON, a supernatural suspense-thriller, and TOMB OF THE GOLDEN BIRD, a romance-adventure based on the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamen, are in development with veteran film and television producers, Zev Braun Entertainment. |

| projects for Redline Studios. Phil co-authored a book on inspirational songwriting, SONGS FROM HEAVEN, with singer-songwriter-worship leader, Tommy Walker. His first novel, BLACK SHADOW MOON, adopted from his screenplay, is making the rounds of New York publishers. A second novel is currently underway. |

| Phil has served as both President and Executive Director of the U.S.C. Cinema-Television Alumni Association. He served for two years as an adjunct professor for the Act One Screenwriting Program and taught for five years as an adjunct professor of screenwriting at Glendale College. |
